You've mastered the basics and want more? The Advanced Course takes your underwater camera game to the next level – with guest talks from professional UW cinematographers.
The Advanced Course is in planning. Sign up now and I'll notify you when it's available.
Basic and Advanced combined – for example two weeks in the Maldives where you learn everything there is to know about underwater cameras. Also possible for slightly larger groups with more staff.
The Combi Course is in planning. Sign up now and I'll notify you when it's available.
You need a camera in a waterproof housing – everything from an action cam to a full-frame camera is welcome. What matters is that the system has been tested and works. If you're not sure, simply take the Pre-Course Check.
For the Basic Course we recommend at least 30 logged dives and at least an AOWD certification. You need to be safe and self-sufficient in the water – the course focuses on the camera, not on dive training.
The Basic Course is the perfect entry point: intensive days covering everything you need for professional underwater footage. The Advanced Course builds on it – with a focus on storytelling, composition and guest talks by working professionals.
Yes, accommodation at the course location is included in the Basic Course. The exact details (room type, meals) vary by location and are communicated with the booking confirmation.
A maximum of 6 people per group – deliberately small. You get direct feedback on your footage instead of a generic group programme.
Yes, you can join with an action cam. The course covers all camera systems. You'll learn to get the most out of your setup – whether GoPro, Olympus or Nikon Z8.
Courses are taught in German or English, depending on the group. Both languages are possible – simply state your preference when signing up.
If you cancel more than 60 days before the course starts, you receive a full refund. Later cancellations are subject to staggered cancellation terms. You'll find the details in the terms and conditions provided at booking.
Yes, your own dive gear (BCD, regulator, computer, mask/fins/snorkel) is mandatory. Renting locally is possible, but we recommend your own setup – you know it and you trust it.
Courses have a maximum of 6 spots and tend to fill up early. We recommend booking 3–6 months in advance. Sign up now to secure your spot.
