Meeresschnitt is an Austrian underwater content house – founded to bring the world beneath the surface closer to people.
The content house rests on three pillars: underwater camera courses (Basic, Advanced & Combi), professional UW operator work for film and advertising, and conservation content for NGOs and protection projects. The courses are aimed specifically at divers who want to capture the world beneath the surface professionally and in motion. Every skill level and every camera system is welcome.

Learn more →We offer UW Cinematography Basic, Advanced and Combi courses (Advanced and Combi are still being developed). The Basic course runs for eight intensive, hands-on days in small groups of no more than six people. You learn everything you need to get started with underwater camera work.

Founder & underwater camera operator
I founded Meeresschnitt as an underwater content house. My work as a 1st AC brings extensive technical knowledge and an understanding of a wide range of camera systems. My passion for diving shows in my other role as an underwater camera operator. Many trips around the world rekindled my strong interest in nature, and especially in the world under water. Over the years these different activities, passions and experiences began to connect, and they now come together in this underwater content house. I would like to pass this collection of knowledge and experience on to you.
